My family tree is a puzzle that never ends, but I enjoy the search. I can trace my dad's line from Orange County, North Carolina (early 1700's), through some of the southern U.S. states, and eventually to Texas (primarily Caldwell County, Texas and Travis County, Texas).

I can trace my mom's line from southern Sweden to Texas. Some my mom's U.S. ancestors first settled in Chicago, Illinois, but most ended up in McCulloch County, Texas, and Travis County, Texas.

My mother and father met in Brady, McCulloch County, Texas. They made their home in what is now known as Mustang Ridge, Travis County, Texas -- where I was raised. My husband James Walker and I now live in Milam County, Texas.

Brief trees for my father and mother are inserted below.
