JACOB H. TAYLOR

The Milano Gazette, Saturday, January 29, 1921: "Aged Citizen Died Suddenly Thursday Morning. Mr. J. H. Taylor died suddenly Thursday morning at about 7:30 o'clock from heart failure at his home here in Milano. He had apparently been in sound health with the exception of advanced age and feebleness at times. Mr. Taylor was 71 years of age and was among the early settlers of this country. His wife departed from this life several years ago, and since then he had been living with his two daughters, Miss Jessica and Miss Ella Taylor. Besides these two daughters he leaves a son, Mr. S. W. Taylor, and three brothers, Mr. Boyd Taylor or north Milano, Mr. John Taylor of Somerville and Mr. Richard Taylor of Mississippi state. Mr. Taylor was a consecrated christian citizen, was a charter member of the Milano Masonic lodge and always possessed a pleasant personality toward all humanity. Burial will take place at the Milano cemetery this Friday."
